This creates a “memory ring” that helps ensure even burns in the future. Skipping this step can damage your candle’s burn quality.

Trim Your Wick: After each burn, give your wick a little trim. The burnt wood softens as it burns, so you can easily pinch it off with your fingertips, no heavy hands needed!
